After more than 20 years of development and construction, Dongtou Xiaomen Island has become the most important petrochemical base in Zhejiang. In recent days, Zhejiang Chengyi Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. has injected the "Chengyi Pharmaceutical Plate" into the Wenzhou Petrochemical Base at a high starting point by convening "product selection meetings" and "expert symposiums" in Shanghai and other places, and has carried out strategic planning work such as product selection.
Xiaomen Island is located in the northern part of Damen Island in Dongtou District, with an area of 4.62 square kilometers and a total coastline of 16.95 kilometers. Large state-owned enterprises such as China Petroleum Asphalt and Huadian Energy have been stationed for many years, making it one of the important bases for cultivating "new energy" in Wenzhou.
On January 5, 2018, the Wenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Government held the "On site Promotion Meeting for the Cultivation of New Energy and the Transformation and Improvement of Traditional Manufacturing Industry in Wenzhou", and issued the "21 New Energy Policies", listing biopharmaceuticals as a "strategic emerging industry" in Wenzhou, with a focus on supporting its development. After giving a typical speech at the "on-site promotion meeting", as the first listed marine biopharmaceutical company in Zhejiang Province, Chengyi Pharmaceutical, based on the overall planning of Wenzhou City and Dongtou District, and with the support of relevant departments at the provincial and municipal levels, accelerated the construction of the "Chengyi Pharmaceutical Plate" base on Xiaomen Island.
On November 9th last year, Chengyi Pharmaceutical invited relevant experts to lead an expedition to the island. On February 3rd of this year, the "Chengyi Pharmaceutical Xiaomen Mountain Product Selection Conference" was held in Shanghai to select and select the product varieties that will enter Xiaomen Island.
At the "selection meeting", experts from the national "Thousand Talents Plan", provincial "Thousand Talents Plan", and many scientific research institutions, such as doctoral students, requested Dongtou District to combine the planning and positioning of the Xiaomen Island Port Industry Base, focus on selecting products with competitive advantages in marine biology, select and develop first generation products, and cultivate its own characteristics and advantages.
According to Yan Yiyi, Chairman of Zhejiang Chengyi Pharmaceutical, in January of this year, the company's various business indicators increased significantly compared to the same period last year, showing a great trend. The company has visited multiple academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, established academician workstations, actively selected anti-tumor drugs, and entered the research and development stage as soon as possible.
