Fifty years of ups and downs, fifty years of spring and autumn. This afternoon, the 50th anniversary celebration of the establishment of Zhejiang Cheng Yi Pharmaceutical, a leading pharmaceutical enterprise in our city, was held at Dongtou Theater. The entire celebration event showcases Cheng Yi Pharmaceutical's exploration and enterprising spirit of half a century, following the trend of the times, adhering to the spirit of pragmatism, pursuing excellent quality, and achieving transformation and upgrading through continuous transformation. The celebration event held the Zhejiang Marine Biomedical Forum, and the celebration conference performed commendations and condolences.
In October 1966, the health team of the troops stationed in Dongtou founded Tongshan Pharmaceutical Factory to alleviate the local shortage of medical supplies. The pharmaceutical factory is actually just a small workshop. At that time, the health team vacated several barracks, got two large vats, and approved 60 feet of bibcock fine cloth from the superior department to make five washing racks. In the absence of pharmaceutical knowledge and basic skills, the soldiers built a pharmaceutical factory with one cavity of blood, and made the first product of the enterprise - Aluminium hydroxide gel.
After unremitting efforts and exploration, three years later, the small workshop produced Huanglian Injection Hydrochloride and Sodium Bicarbonate Tablets. The People's Frontline Daily of the Nanjing Military Region published a special report on "Two Big Tanks Causing Revolution", and this small pharmaceutical factory on the island became famous throughout the country.
There are numerous difficulties in establishing a pharmaceutical factory on an island, both in terms of infrastructure and talent reserves, which seriously constrain the development of the enterprise. In 1980, Yan Yiyi, the helmsman of the company, was appointed as the director of Tongshan Pharmaceutical Factory in the face of danger. With limited funds, the factory underwent a series of technological transformations, ultimately achieving rapid development of pharmaceuticals.
Fifty years of hard work and progress, Cheng Yi Pharmaceutical has completed magnificent turns in the baptism of change after change. In 1990, the enterprise moved from Xiaopu Village to Dongtou County Marine Pharmaceutical Industrial Park, and the drug production workshop underwent a new technological transformation. The new injection workshop was put into mass production, and the annual output of injection products increased sharply from 10 million to nearly 100 million. The enterprise's development scale leapt to a new level. In July of the following year, based on the situation of the Wenzhou pharmaceutical industry at that time, after being reported by the Wenzhou Medical Administration and approved by the Zhejiang Provincial Medical Administration and the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Health, the enterprise was renamed as "Wenzhou Third Pharmaceutical Factory".
March 18, 1994, was a memorable day for Cheng Yi Pharmaceutical. On this day, the People's Government of Dongtou County entrusted the County Economic Commission and Finance Bureau as the first party, and Yan Yiyi as the second party, to sign the enterprise contract for the first time in Dongtou County, and Yan Yiyi will form a partnership to operate the enterprise.
In April 2001, the company underwent restructuring and established Zhejiang Cheng Yi Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. In May 2013, according to the listing requirements, the entire company was changed to a joint-stock company and renamed Zhejiang Cheng Yi Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. In December 2014, Cheng Yi Pharmaceutical was preparing to go public and will soon be listed on the Shanghai main board.
Fifty years of wind and rain, singing all the way. Starting from its original small workshop, Cheng Yi Pharmaceutical has now become a major manufacturer of related pharmaceutical products and intermediates for multiple international multinational pharmaceutical companies. It is one of the five key enterprises in our province and a high-tech enterprise in Zhejiang Province. It has established a complete GMP quality assurance system and meets the pharmaceutical regulatory requirements of major European and American countries. Multiple products are produced in the United States, European Union, Australia More than 20 countries, including Canada, have registered DMFs separately.
The projects such as "Duloxetine Chemical Drug Large Variety Innovation Research" and "Glucosamine Hydrochloride Key Technology Research and Industrialized Production" declared by the company have been successfully included in the national "Major New Drug Development" science and technology major special sub project, and have received the central financial support for science and technology.
Everything in the past is a preface.
