Chen Tiexiong and his delegation visited Cheng Yi for research and guidance

On June 1st, Chen Tiexiong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, led a team to our district for research and pointed out that Dongtou needs to optimize the structure of the marine industry, form a group of influential modern marine industry clusters, and embark on a unique path for the development of the marine economy in Dongtou. District leaders Guo Yunqiang, Wang Huiping, and others accompanied the research.

Chen Tiexiong and his delegation visited Zhejiang Cheng Yi Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., Wenzhou Zhuangyuan'ao Port Area, and the construction site of Zhejiang Energy LNG project to gain a detailed understanding of the development of marine biomedicine, port construction, and the construction of Zhejiang Energy LNG project.

Dongtou, as the bridgehead of Wenzhou National Marine Economic Development Demonstration Zone and the main position of city expansion in the east, is an important deep-water port, marine industry and port industry cluster in Wenzhou. In recent years, our district has always adhered to the strategy of "strengthening the marine economy" and vigorously developed the marine economy. Zhejiang Cheng Yi Pharmaceutical, as the first listed company in the province's marine biopharmaceutical industry, is fully promoting the "marine biopharmaceutical manufacturing project" and assisting Dongtou in building a modern marine industry cluster worth hundreds of billions. At the same time, our district fully leverages the comparative advantages of ports and accelerates the development of port industrial clusters. Zhuangyuan'ao Port Area is an international cruise port in our province, and currently has opened routes to Japan, Vietnam, Indonesia, and other regions. In addition, the completion of the Zhejiang Energy LNG project will also provide reliable energy guarantees for the safe supply of natural gas, emergency reserves, and sustainable economic development in the province.

The research team expressed appreciation for the achievements of Cheng Yi Pharmaceutical in the development of marine biopharmaceuticals and fully affirmed the construction of the port area engineering project.

Dongtou has abundant marine biopharmaceutical resources, and we need to vigorously develop the marine biopharmaceutical industry, improve the conversion rate of marine pharmaceutical technology achievements, and achieve high-quality development of the marine economy. We should actively promote the construction of key projects in the port area, seize the opportunity to build a strong marine province, and make greater contributions to the development of the province's marine economy.
