Reporter: The official launch of the "Marine Biomedical Manufacturing Project" can be said to be a landmark event in the development history of Cheng Yi Pharmaceutical, and many investors are very concerned about the development process of this project.
Zhao Chunjian: Cheng Yi Pharmaceutical's "Marine Biopharmaceutical Manufacturing Project" was listed as the second batch of major industrial projects in the province by the Zhejiang Provincial Development and Reform Commission and the Provincial Department of Natural Resources at the end of December 2019. This project, also known as the "Cheng Yi Pharmaceutical Health Industrial Park" in Wenzhou, covers a total land area of over 120 acres with a total investment of nearly 500 million yuan. It mainly includes a research and development center, preparation building, elevated warehouse, and ancillary facilities, totaling 60000 square meters. The project started construction in January 2018 and was basically completed within two years. It has received widespread attention from all sectors of society due to its creation of "Cheng Yi Construction Speed" and "Reform Acceleration of Up to One Run" in Dongtou District.
Reporter: This year's unprecedented epidemic has brought enormous pressure to the production and operation of many enterprises. How does Cheng Yi Pharmaceutical seek a balance between epidemic prevention and production? Ensure both epidemic prevention and production are in place.
Zhao Chunjian: Since 2017, as the first listed marine biopharmaceutical enterprise in Zhejiang Province, Cheng Yi Pharmaceutical has accelerated its transformation and upgrading. It has successfully gone public and moved its research and development, marketing, and securities centers to Hongqiao, Shanghai, taking the lead in integrating into the "Yangtze River Delta" and opening the "front store and back factory" model, achieving a significant leap from "offshore" to "Shanghai". At the beginning of this year, facing the sudden outbreak of the epidemic, Cheng Yi Pharmaceutical actively responded to the call of the Provincial Party Committee, Provincial Government, and Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government, and began working overtime on January 27th to produce materials related to the aid to Wuhan; While actively fighting the epidemic prevention and control war, we organize production and sales in a "interlocking manner". Since the outbreak of COVID-19, Cheng Yi Pharmaceutical has adhered to the principle of "two hands, both hands must be hard", and has taken strong measures to prevent and combat the epidemic. At the same time, it has resumed work as soon as possible, closely monitored production, and ensured sales. We are well aware that epidemic prevention is related to the health of employees, and production is related to the development of enterprises. The two cannot be neglected. One is to deploy this year's work as soon as possible. In January before the outbreak of the epidemic, the company had already held a "closed door meeting" of the 2020 production and operation plan, as well as a meeting of all employees in quality, safety, and environmental protection, to deploy and implement the various goals and tasks set by the board of directors for 2020. On the morning of January 21st, the company held the "Annual Work Reporting Conference" for middle-level cadres and above, with more than 30 key personnel taking the stage to address shortcomings, identify gaps, and demonstrate determination. After careful research and careful deployment with company executives, he decisively decided to organize more than 100 local employees in Dongtou to work overtime to produce ribavirin preparations in the preparation workshop and logistics, security, QA, QC, and logistics personnel on the third day of the Chinese New Year.
