Cheng Yi's "Marine Biomedical Manufacturing Project" has been put into operation

On March 16th, the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial Government held the "High Quality Development Conference of the Provincial Manufacturing Industry" in Hangzhou through video conference. Provincial Party Secretary Che Jun pointed out that the manufacturing industry is the foundation of establishing a country and building a strong country. Building a global advanced manufacturing base is the responsibility of Zhejiang to deepen the implementation of the strategic discourse and decision-making deployment on building a strong manufacturing country. It is a strategic choice to adapt to major changes, grasp major changes, and respond to major events. It is a major measure to embark on a new journey of high-level modernization construction. At the Wenzhou branch, Chen Weijun, member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the Wenzhou Municipal Party Committee, announced that the "Marine Biopharmaceutical Manufacturing Project" of Zhejiang Cheng Yi Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. was officially put into operation.

The "Marine Biopharmaceutical Manufacturing Project" of Cheng Yi Pharmaceutical was listed as the second batch of major industrial projects in the province by the Zhejiang Provincial Development and Reform Commission and the Provincial Department of Natural Resources at the end of December 2019. This project, also known as the "Cheng Yi Pharmaceutical Health Industrial Park" in Wenzhou, covers a total land area of 122 acres, a total construction area of approximately 98000 square meters, and a total investment of 460 million yuan. It mainly includes a research and development center, formulation building, elevated warehouse, and ancillary facilities. The project started in January 2018 and completed basic construction by the end of that year. It has received widespread attention from various sectors of Wenzhou society due to its creation of "Cheng Yi construction speed" and "acceleration of reform at most once" in Dongtou District.

Since 2017, as the first listed marine biopharmaceutical enterprise in Zhejiang Province, Cheng Yi Pharmaceutical has accelerated its transformation and upgrading, successfully went public and invested nearly 500 million yuan to build a "health industry park". It has also taken the lead in integrating into the "Yangtze River Delta" and launched the "front store rear factory" model, striving to become the city's advanced manufacturing "vanguard".

On the morning of March 11th, Chen Weijun, a member of the Standing Committee of the Zhejiang Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the Wenzhou Municipal Party Committee, came to Cheng Yi Pharmaceutical to conduct a special research mission with the "Three Strong and Two Promotions" special activity. Secretary Chen Weijun fully affirmed the experience of "Cheng Yi Pharmaceutical" in preventing and combating epidemics, as well as the work of resuming work and production. He encouraged enterprises to deeply cultivate the big health industry, promote further improvement of quality and efficiency, and urged local governments to "strongly support and serve good enterprises and products to the end"
